Guest Rooms

See photos of our guest rooms, view amenities, and read about the history of the house.

Choose from three suites, two bedrooms, or a private cottage.

Three suites and two bedrooms are available in the main house. For families, or guests seeking more privacy, a detached cottage with three bedrooms is also available. Large groups may be accommodated, with up to 13 guests in the main house, and 8 in the cottage.

Most rooms feature a fireplace, and old clawfoot tubs can still be found in many of the baths. While the furnishings are antiques, to us, they are the family’s furniture. The art and decorations are gifts from artists who have stayed with us, or souvenirs from far-flung travels.

Wifi is available throughout the main house, and also in the cottage. Small refrigerators are provided in suites.

Rooms are equipped with either ceiling fans or portable fans, but temperatures in the house typically remain cool, even in the summer. Rooms have heat, and portable space-heaters can be provided for rooms not equipped with a fire-place.

The kitchen served guests who stayed not only in the main house but also in the Mow and the Big Cottage, two structures located to the south, which no longer exist.
